DORDRECHT & HASTINGS
This collaboration between Dordrecht and Hastings developed in response to the City of Dordrecht’s event to mark the 400th anniversary of the Synod of Dort.
Artists from Dordrecht’s twin towns: Hastings (UK) Recklinghausen (Germany) and Varna (Bulgaria) lived and worked together in Dordrecht for ten days. Work created there was distributed inside and outside venues around the town.
The walls opposite old city Mint became the temporary home to my fabric architectural piece. The wind caught the fabric and animated the space around the calm, rectilinear and static medieval architecture.
